LaToya and Hermon Moore Jr. of Greenwood will renew vows at 4 p.m. Aug. 7, 2010 at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood.
The Rev. Jessie Payne will officiate at the ceremony.
The couple was married Aug. 5, 2010, and will celebrate their 5-year anniversary.
The bride is the daughter of Varneal Peoples of Greenwood and Tommie Peoples of Sidon.
She is the granddaughter of Dorothy O'Bannon of Sidon and the late Jimmy O'Bannon and the late Rosezella and Clarence Outlaw.
The groom is the son of Debra Moore of Greenwood and Hermon Moore Sr. of Winona.
He is the grandson of Opal Robinson of Greenwood, the late Amanda and D.C. Moore and the late Louverta and Ivory Parker.
The couple's children are Harmoni, 10 months; A'ryah,2; Aireona, 4; and Keona, 11. Their godmother is Lillie Perez.
Mrs. Moore is a 2003 graduate of Amanda Elzy High School and a 2006 graduate of Mississippi Delta Community College.
She attends the University of Phoenix, where she is earning a degree in nursing.
The bride is employed by Golden Age Nursing Home.
Mr. Moore is a 2002 graduate of of Amanda Elzy High School.
He is employed by CCA correction facility, where he is a correctional officer.
A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the Confederate Memorial Building in Greenwood.
Friends and relatives are invited. A special invitation is extended members Amanda Elzy High School's classes of 2002 and 2003.
