John Ervin Gray Jr. and Willo Dene Grantham Gray of Carrollton will celebrate 70 years of marriage from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Liberty Baptist Church’s youth building, across the street from the church, in the Jefferson community.
The event is being held by the couple’s family.
The Grays exchanged vows on June 7, 1947, in Grenada County.
They have two sons, Johnny Greg Gray of Grenada and the late Donald Gene Gray, and five grandchildren, Randy Gray of Grenada; Laura Gray Bloodworth of Gore Springs; Derek Gray of Tampa, Florida; Elizabeth Gray Miller of Jackson, Wyoming; and Chip Gray of Carrollton.
The couple also has six great-grandchildren, Justin, Devin and Katelyn Bloodworth of Gore Springs; Rileigh and Elliott Miller of Jackson, Wyoming; and Camdon Gray of Tampa, Florida.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend the celebration.
Gifts are not necessary.
