The children of Paul Joseph Correro and Sandra Billingslea Correro of Greenwood announce their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 11.
Mr. and Mrs. Correro were married on July 11, 1970, at the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle in Jackson.
They have three children: Jennifer (Spencer) Ellett of Saucier, Paul Jr. (Tina) Correro of Gulfport and Paula (Josh) Pearson of Olive Branch. They have six grandchildren: Jacob (Amber) Ellett of Morton; Brittany (Marshall) Ballard of Spanish Fort, Alabama; Vincent Paul Correro and Melissa Correro, both of Gulfport; and Emily Pearson and Tyler Pearson, both of Olive Branch. Mr. and Mrs. Correro have recently become great-grandparents to twin boys, Jaxson and Kace Ellett, 4 months old.
Mrs. Correro is a retired teacher assistant with Greenwood public schools, and Mr. Correro is a retired certified public accountant.
They enjoy golf, cooking, cheering for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, NASCAR racing, volunteering at their church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and spending time with their family and friends.
Their family would like to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Correro for 50 years of marriage: “For all that you’ve been to us, for all that you’ve done for us, for all that you are, we love you!”
