Boy Scouting is a very good program for boys.
In the early 1960s, the Boy Scouts of America bestowed eight awards to Scouts in the United States for lifesaving. My son, Eagle Scout Tommy Browning III, was one of the recipients for saving his younger brother, Bud, from drowning.
