Recently, as I drove north on U.S. 49, I listened to talk radio 96.9 with J.T. as host. His guest was our governor, Phil Bryant. The topic of conversation was funding for roads and bridges — specifically, our part of any federal funds that require a match in percentage from Mississippi — and balancing the budget.
