Editor, Commonwealth:
Greenwood Leflore Hospital is always appreciative of our community partners and local business relationships.
We recently had the opportunity to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to America’s Catch employees. This was a great opportunity for us to be a part of promoting a healthy workplace environment for this local employer.
This past week America’s Catch showed its gratitude toward this initiative by helping the hospital when a transformer that provides electricity to the hospital’s laboratory went down. To help the hospital avoid a sizable loss of valuable supplies, America’s Catch loaned one of its refrigerated trucks for the hospital to use until the power was fully restored. This enabled the hospital to relocate the reagents that our laboratory uses for patient testing.
A refrigerated truck from America’s Catch saved the day during a power outage at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
When local businesses and local hospitals come together to help each other, it helps to create a healthy and thriving community that believes in supporting one another. Thank you, America’s Catch!
We would also like to express our appreciation to our Plant Operations team and all hospital employees who moved so quickly to help deliver temporary power, and a special thank-you to the staff in our laboratory for its hard work during the power outage.
