Leflore County’s special election for chancery clerk and District 4 supervisor will be held from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the county’s 18 voting precincts. All registered voters in the county may cast ballots in the clerk’s race between Johnny Gary Jr. and Debra Hibbler, and those in Itta Bena also will be voting in the District 4 supervisor’s contest between Eric Mitchell and Wayne Self. The Greenwood Commonwealth will post results online at www.gwcommonwealth as they become available after the polls close.
