Democratic mayoral runoff set Tuesday

The runoff to determine the Democratic Party’s nominee for Greenwood mayor is Tuesday.
Kenderick Cox, 41, and Lamar Liddell, 60, were the top finishers in the April 1 primary election, with Cox earning 534 votes, or 40%, and Liddell earning 496 votes, or 38%. Brandice Brown-Williams, 30, finished with 288 votes, or 22%.
