If there is one Mississippi government agency director who’s sure to get more money in 2017, it’s Herb Frierson, who is commissioner of the Department of Revenue.
Frierson got appointed to the job this year by Gov. Phil Bryant and resigned his seat in the state House of Representatives to take it.
