A string of mass shootings, not to mention the daily carnage of gun violence, is shaping Americans’ attitudes toward gun laws.
According to a recent national poll, conducted in partnership with The Associated Press, 71% of those surveyed agree that gun laws should be stricter, with wide support for the general idea across party lines.
