The timing couldn’t be better. Two weeks after a section of the Leflore County Courthouse flooded, U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson presented the county with a $500,000 check for facility repairs.
The earmark is not necessarily going to be spent on repairs to the courthouse, but it should be.
