Following a series of unrelated fatal shootings throughout Mississippi last week, some community organizers and lawmakers are pressing for reforms to the state’s gun laws.
They include Danyelle Holmes, an organizer based in Jackson but originally from Greenwood, who wants the state’s law regarding the open carrying of firearms repealed.
