Inmates clean up: City strikes deal with Delta Correctional

Five Delta Correctional Facility inmates have been picking up litter along U.S. 82 and U.S. 49 for a little over two weeks, and Greenwood Mayor Carolyn McAdams says the arrangement is working well.
The female inmates pick up litter from 7 a.m. to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. They began on July 8.
