Daniel Clark, 31, 1416 Mississippi 7 N., running stop sign, suspended driver’s license, released on bond.

Giara Lashae Harris, 26, 1000 Aven Ave., Apt. 2A, contempt of court (four counts), false identifying information, released on bond.

Ricky Hill Jr., 27, 204 E. Railroad Ave., Sidon, petit larceny (warrant), released on own recognizance.

LEFLORE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPT.

Harvey Lee Sanders, 50, 22 Sunset Circle, failure to appear (warrant), jailed.

Frank Alexander, 43, 911 Grenada Blvd. Ext., aggravated domestic violence, jailed.

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
