Two Tchula men have received 20-year sentences in connection with a robbery at a Vaiden gas station in February 2020.
Javantae Rowe, 21, pleaded guilty to armed robbery of the Shell station this month, and McKenzie Quinn, 17, pleaded guilty to the same charge in May, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department said in a press release issued Tuesday.
Each had been charged with two counts, as was a third suspect, Robert Solomon of Lexington, who was then 21.
Sheriff Clint Walker said last year that $100 had been stolen from the cash register and about $20 had been taken from a customer.
Walker said a tip allowed deputies to arrest and charge the three suspects. He could not be reached Tuesday to provide an update on Solomon.
