Three people were injured in a drive-by shooting Sunday evening on Main Street.
Police Chief Terrence Craft said police responded to a call reporting shots fired at about 9:50 p.m. near the Chevron gas station.
He said witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored Dodge traveling away at a high speed.
One victim, Minnie Hill, suffered an injury to her left hand. Another, Jarvis Reedy, was shot in the buttocks. Both were transported to Greenwood Leflore Hospital and later released..
Craft said the third victim, April Williams, suffered an injury to her leg and was airlifted to Jackson.
He said several .40-caliber handgun projectiles were recovered at the scene.
With the help of municipal cameras, a partial tag number has been identified, and police are investigating, Craft said.
