Alston and Whitney Avritt of Cordova, Tenn., announce the birth of their son, John Brewer Avritt, on Jan. 3, 2012, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tenn.
He weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 19 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Kathy Kearney of Money and the late John Kearney Jr.
