Mr. and Mrs. Derrick Johnson Sr. of Memphis, Tenn., announce the birth of their son, Derrick Tremel Johnson Jr., who was born Jan. 15, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women in Memphis. He weighed 7 pounds, 11.8 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Dennis and Mary Cage of Schlater.
