Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Spinks of Clarksdale announce the birth of their son, Matthew Wynne Spinks, who was born Aug. 10, 2008, at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale. He weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 18 1/2 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Harvey and Lena Cherry of Calera, Ala.
