Mr. and Mrs. Beau Mixon of Lake Charles, La., announce the birth of their son, Maximilian Pleasants Mixon, who was born Jan. 15, 2009, at the Women's and Children's Hospital of Lake Charles. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
His maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Frank P. Stainback III of Greenwood.
