Greenwood police are continuing to investigate two incidents of shots being fired into homes early Saturday morning and already have a suspect in one of the cases in custody.
"We have arrested somebody. We know that there are some other folks involved," said Police Chief Henry Harris this morning.
No one was injured in either of the shootings.
A 21-year-old Greenwood man is being held in connection with the drive-by shooting at 319 Broad St., that occurred around 12:56 a.m. Saturday, said Deputy Chief Huntley Nevels.
Although he has not been officially charged, he will likely be charged soon, Nevels said.
Police are also investigating a shooting along Taft Street that took place around 5:12 a.m. Saturday.
Both cases remain under investigation, and more arrests are likely, Nevels said.
