Investigators with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration have found no safety violations in the death of Greenwood businessman Bob Henderson.
The case is closed, according to Eugene Stewart, assistant area director.
"We've reviewed all the circumstances concerning OSHA regulations," he said.
An employee told authorities he found Henderson pinned underneath an International truck at his Carroll County farm on Feb. 17.
Henderson died of suffocation, according to a preliminary autopsy report. Investigators have ruled out natural causes and homicide as the manner of death.
Because the incident took place at his work place, OSHA was called in to investigate.
Stewart was unsure of any specifics of the investigation but said this particular case was reviewed under construction codes.
This code includes equipment operations, first aid training and steel erections. "It runs the whole gamut."
Carroll County Chief Deputy Michael Spellman refused to comment on the criminal investigation.
He referred questions to Sheriff Don Gray, who was out of the office Thursday.
