HOLCOMB - Services for Naomi Ross Holman, 63, of Chicago, Ill., who died of pneumonia Friday, March 12, 2004, in Chicago, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Swain Chapel.
Services also were held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago with the Rev. D.W. Patton officiating.
A native of Grenada County, she was the youngest of 12 children. She attended Adams Elementary School and Carrie Dotson High School. After her children got older, she attended Daly College. She was a member of Swain Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Preston
Holman.
She is survived by three children, Angela Holman, Cynthia Holman and Willie Holman; one sister, Sarah Ross Henderson of Greenwood; two brothers, Spencer Ross and John Ross, both of Chicago; and eight grandchildren.
The Rev. Jerome Johnson will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Swain Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
James, Chambers and Chambers Funeral Home in Chicago and Eddie Robinson & Son Funeral Directors in Grenada are in charge of arrangements.
