A 21-year-old Greenwood man accused of a Monday night murder has been moved from Greenwood Leflore Hospital to the Leflore County Jail.
Narada Smith of 1202 Hilton St., Apt. 22, has been charged with the murder of 23-year-old Carlos Summerville of Greenwood, investigator Jimmy Tindall said.
Bond has not been set, but Tindall said a bond hearing is expected this morning.
Smith had been hospitalized Monday for a gunshot wound to the leg, Tindall said. He was taken from the scene of the shooting in an ambulance.
Tindall said three other men held for investigation in the case have been released, but the investigation is ongoing.
Investigators believe Smith shot and killed Summerville during a Monday night argument at Smith's home in the W.J. Bishop Apartments near Amanda Elzy High School.
Five guns, including an assault rifle, were taken from the scene by Sheriff's Department officers.
Tindall said the department is still investigating a motive for the shooting.
Sheriff Ricky Banks said Monday that the argument may have stemmed from a dice game or concerned ownership of a gun.
