LOUISVILLE- Services for Lena Beatrice Vaughn, 82, of Macon, who died of heart failure Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Noxubee General Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tilghman Funeral Home.
Mrs. Vaughn was a homemaker and a member of Ellison Ridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her five daughters, Margaret B. Cowsert of Colon, Mich., Peggy Higginbotham of Macon, Patsy Witt of Elkhart, Ind., Deborah Phillips of Blackhawk and Kathy Bowlin of Greenwood; four sons, Herbert Vaughn, William "Pete" Vaughn, Bobby Vaughn and Tommy Vaughn, all of Goshen, Ind.; one sister, Joyce Gomay of San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, C.F. Eldridge of Wichita, Kan., Robert Hemphill of Louisville and Bernard Hemphill of Greenwood; 29 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Gerald Butler will officiate at the services with Darrell Chester assisting.
Burial will be in Rush Cemetery in Dekalb.
