The Leflore County Sheriff's Department, acting on an anonymous phone call, uncovered nine illegal gambling machines and a stash of money from a house trailer Thursday night.
Austin Ramsey, 40, of 420 E. McLaurin St., who told authorities he rents the trailer, was arrested and charged with possession of an illegal gaming device.
Deputies seized the machines and $321 in cash from the trailer at 607 Browning Road Ext., Lot 1. Ramsey was there when they made the raid around 11:15 p.m., said Sheriff Ricky Banks.
Banks said his office has been investigating a possible gambling operation in the trailer about two weeks.
Ramsey told deputies he rents the trailer from a man in Jackson, said Banks.
