A wildfire in Carroll County grew to more than 4,000 acres on Saturday, making it the second-largest wildfire on record according to the Mississippi Forestry Commission.
First responders had contained 90% of Carroll County’s Big Hungry Fire as of Tuesday after deploying helicopters over the weekend to perform water drops.
