Brock wins state Heisman honor for Mississippi

Pillow Academy senior Caroline Brock was awarded a $750 college scholarship as the High School Heisman State Winner for Missisippi. Brock moves on to the regional stage with a chance to be selected as a national finalist on Monday. Brock, the daughter of Don and Romney Brock, participates in five sports, serves as secretary of the senior class and finished her junior year with a GPA of 4.86. Students apply for the honor on their own — they are not nominated by the school.
