Quontavious Lymon may be the next big signee to come out of Greenwood High School. A few more performances like he had last Friday will help cement that.

Lymon, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 285 pounds, was credited with 13 tackles, six being for a loss, in the Bulldogs’ 45-7 triumph over Class 5A foe Cleveland Central last week.

Lymon’s performance has earned him recognition as one of the Commonwealth’s Players of the Week.

He plays defensive tackle for the Bulldogs, who are 3-0 and hit the road for the first time this season as they visit Greenville Friday night. The Hornets are off to a 2-1 start.

Joining Lymon as a Player of the Week is Pillow Academy wide receiver Jack Reichle. The senior wide out scored three touchdowns on pass plays as the Mustangs pounded Canton Academy 45-0.
