JUNE 18, 2019,

CITY COUNCIL MEETING

A RESOLUTION AMENDING GREENWOOD CODE OF ORDINANCES, APPENDIX B, SECTION 608 AND DESIGNATING SUBDIVISION SCHEDULE OF FEES

   WHEREAS, Section 608 of Appendix B entitled “Subdivision” entitled “scheduled fees” designates that the Mayor and City Council shall establish a schedule of fees to cover certain procedures subdivisions in the City;

   WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Greenwood finds it to be in the best interest of the citizens of Greenwood to adopt and establish the Subdivision Regulation Fee Schedule attached hereto as Exhibit “A,” and that by adoption of said Fee Schedule does hereby amend Appendix B Section 608 of the Code of Ordinances.

   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

GREENWOOD, MISSISSIPPI, that the findings, conclusions and statements of fact contained in the forgoing preamble are hereby adopted, ratified and incorporated here and finds as follows:

   The City Council of the City of Greenwood, Mississippi hereby amends Section 608 of Appendix B of the Greenwood Code of Ordinances to adopt the Fee Schedule for Subdivisions attached hereto as Exhibit “A.”

   The above and foregoing resolution having been first reduced to writing was considered section by section and then as a whole, having been introduced by Councilperson Charles E. McCoy, Sr., was duly seconded for adoption by Councilperson Lisa Cookston, and upon a vote being called, received the following vote:
