Courthouse lawn

Regarding the article “Magnolia near courthouse may be cut down” (May 7):

Leave the magnolia tree on the Leflore County Courthouse lawn alone.

If you need any input on doing anything on the courthouse lawn, please consult Silvana Rausa, who has spent countless volunteer hours making the lawn beautiful.

Why would you want to whack it up? Where were you before Mrs. Rausa began volunteering?

I suggest these ladies take their good ideas and improve their lawns and help senior citizen homeowners with their lawns.

Mrs. Rausa has the courthouse lawn covered and does an excellent job.
