Rand Paul, the fiscally conservative Kentucky senator, tells it like it is when he says that big spending and big government are a bipartisan failing.

Lamenting the recent budget deal that will add another $1.7 trillion to the national debt over the next decade, Paul said that many of those Republicans who blasted the deficits run up by Democratic President Barack Obama are doing the same — “the whole disingenuous lot ... will wiggle their way to the front of the trough.”
