Mr. Roy Lee Mann, 74, died on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

He was born on Jan. 21, 1945, in Newport, Arkansas, to Leroy and Aline Minter Mann and lived in Greenwood. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jerald Ray Mann; and a brother, Carl Mann. Roy was the former owner of Short Stop Convenience Market in Greenwood and was of the Nazarene faith. His hobbies were karaoke and spending time with family and friends. He attended Cleveland High School.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Moore Mann of Greenwood; a daughter, Amelia (Mark) Mitchell of Pelahatchie; a son, George Moody of Grenada; a brother, Terry Ray Mann of Iowa, Louisiana; a grandson, Gerald Ray Mann Jr.; and sisters Jean Doyle of Bogue Chitto, Twyla Hunter of Cleveland, Nora Cross of Merigold, Laquieta Adkins of Ruleville, and Elizabeth Richardson of Sevierville, Tennessee.
