Graveside services for Marjorie Tippets Halbert will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Greenwood.

Mrs. Halbert, 82, died Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Riverside Nursing & Rehab.

She was born on Nov. 24, 1937, in Sacramento, California, to Raymond and Marjorie Vivian Tiegpjen Tippets and lived in Greenwood. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Sam D. McGarrity Jr.; a daughter, Katrina Engle; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew Little and Daniel Fisk.

Marjorie resided in Greenwood for over 20 years and was a homemaker. She was of the Mormon religion, and her hobbies were puzzles and card games. 

She is survived by her two sons, Bill McGarrity of Sidon and Delbert McGarrity of Pearl; two daughters, Katherine Holmes of Oxford and Laura Blaylock of Arkansas; a sister, Janice Houser of California; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Bro. Michael Mooneyham will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Chris McDonald, Peyton Jenkins, Austin Little, Drew Henderson, Charlie Hill and Billy McGarrity.
