Virginia Myers Dunn, 80, of Greenwood died Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Golden Age Nursing Home. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. Saturday until services at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Rob Garland and the Rev. Glenn Waller will officiate. Burial will be in Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County.

Mrs. Dunn was born Dec. 22, 1938, in Sunflower County to Edgar Myers Sr. and Eva Sumners Myers. She was a graduate of J.Z. George High School in North Carrollton. She was retired from Baldwin Piano & Organ Co. after 19 years and worked 17 years at Supreme Electronics. She was a charter member of Bible Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph C. Fowler Jr., and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Loyd Dunn of Greenwood; daughters Debbie Walker of Duck Hill, Stephanie Dunn of Greenwood, Pam Dunn of Greenwood and Mary Jane Rogers of Cleveland; son Stephen Dunn of Brandon; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be William Rutherford, Devine Garrison, Mike Cooper, Jimmy McBride, Richard Blackwell, Benny McCaleb, Bobby Floyd and Joseph York.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
