Mary Haddon Hicks, 72, of Greenwood died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, at her residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with visitation from noon until service time. Burial will be in Odd Fellows East Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis McKay will officiate.

Mrs. Hicks was born in Stewart on May 2, 1947, to Joseph Edward Haddon and Mary Kate Orr Haddon. She worked at Irvin Automotive for over 20 years and at Viking Range Corp. She attended Vine Life Fellowship Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching television. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Hicks Sr.; sisters Shirley Sparks and Dorothy Winters; and her parents.

Mrs. Hicks is survived by her sons, Cliff Hicks Jr. of Greenwood and Jerry Hicks and his wife, Jamie, of Carrollton; her daughters, Amanda Hicks and her husband, William Hutchings, of Carrollton and Lisa Beavers and her husband, Thomas, of Greenwood; a brother, Joe Haddon of Big Creek; a sister, Linda Kuykendall of Duck Hill; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Bowlin, Thomas Beavers, William Hutchings, James Blankenship, Dayton Harris, Logan Taylor and Cody Pugh.

Memorials may be made to the Leflore County Humane Society, 601 Ione Street, Greenwood, MS 38930.
