Services for Walter Stewart Jr. of Greenwood will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Greater Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ.

Mr. Stewart, 54, died Sunday, March 10, 2019, in Sidon.

He was employed by Clark Roofing Company for a number of years before becoming disabled. He was a professional kickboxer and an extreme fitness mentor and prided himself on physical fitness.

He is survived by his wife, Bennie Mae Stewart of Greenwood; three sons, Dashae Lucas of Walnut Creek, California, and Tyshun Lucas and Corkceno Williams, both of Greenwood; five daughters, Joyce Lucas of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Latonia Lucas, Treasure Stewart, Sanigah Carradine and Quanique Williams, all of Greenwood; six brothers, Sam Minniefield of Kankakee, Illinois, Mosley Minniefield of Memphis, Robert Stewart of Cleveland, Corkceno Stewart of Jackson, Walter Stewart Jr. of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and James Stewart of Chicago; nine sisters, Iola Stewart, Lucille Stewart and Celie Stewart, all of Greenwood, Mary Stewart of Memphis, Claireane Stewart of Decatur, Illinois, Teri Stewart of Memphis, Eva Jean Brown of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Irene McKinney of St. Louis and Henrietta Thompson of Chicago; and nine grandchildren.

The Rev. Larry Evans will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Jerry Gaston, Kelvin Williams Sr., David Leahman, Narvel Echols, Marcellus Gray, Carlos McKinney and Walter Hurt Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dashae Lucas, Tyshun Lucas, Robert Stewart, Corkceno Stewart, Sam Minniefield, Mosley Minniefield and Shachia Stewart.

Century Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Willing Worker Cemetery.
