WINONA — Funeral services for Charles Noah of McCarley will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Carrollton Baptist Church in Carrollton, with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.  The Rev. Ed McDaniel will officiate the services.  Pallbearers will be Cecil Womble, Trey Mullins, Danny Beck, Jerry Paul Whitfield, Jerry Sheppard and Brent Noah.  Honorary pallbearers will be Charles McCluskey, Hays Nolan, Fred Palmertree, Lee Murrah, Curren Sheppard and Carl Noah.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday until service time at Carrollton Baptist Church.

Mr. Noah, 78, passed away at his residence near McCarley on Sunday, April 28.  He was born in Carrollton on July 9, 1940, to H.M. and Catherine Carpenter Noah.  He was a salesman for Farmers Supply Co-op, retiring after 42 years.  Mr. Noah served in the Mississippi Army National Guard and was a member of Carrollton Baptist Church.  He enjoyed carpentry work and worked hard at everything he did.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joy Hoatland.

Mr. Noah is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Noah of McCarley; two sons, Brad Noah of McCarley and Scott Noah of San Antonio, Texas; two granddaughters, Alex Noah and Caley Noah; three sisters, Frances Palmertree of Greenwood, Bernice Sheppard of Lake Village, Arkansas, and Nancy Murrah of Clinton; one brother, Carl Noah of Vaiden; and many nieces and nephews.
