GRENADA — Graveside services for Martha P. Lance, 88, of Greenwood will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Mortimer National Funeral Home in Grenada.

Martha died Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, in Oxford at the home of her son.

She was born on July 15, 1931, in Taylor, Mississippi, and was the daughter of the late Marshall F. Pugh and Lottie Cecil Smith Pugh.

Martha was employed by Medart Locker Company in Greenwood as an inspector. She was a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward R. Lance Sr.; three sisters, Jewell Middleton, Ruby Chestnut and Opal Malone; and two brothers, Winford Pugh and Burl Pugh.

She is survived by one daughter, Lari Suhr of Gretna, Nebraska; two stepsons, Edward R. Lance Jr. of Oxford and Jimmy S. Lance of Senatobia; and five grandchildren.
