The Greenwood-Leflore Ministerial Association is sponsoring a series of Lenten Luncheons as a special opportunity to eat, pray and be encouraged with friends and neighbors from across Leflore County in the season leading up to Easter.

All luncheons will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Greater Harvest Worship Center, 3801 U.S. 49. Bring a sack lunch, and the members of the speaker’s church will provide dessert.

The upcoming speakers will be:

• Wednesday: The Rev. Billy Ray Stonestreet of St. John's United Methodist Church

• April 3: Bishop Earnest Miller of Greater Harvest

• April 10: The Rev. Richard Owens of Westminster Presbyterian Church
