Wesley Greene and Norman Dixon

Wesley Greene, left, owner of Flight 95 Towing and Recovery in Winona, meets with Norman Dixon of Birmingham, Alabama, whose vehicle was recently recovered after being stolen.

An Alabama man has expressed his appreciation after a man accused of stealing his vehicle was arrested by Carroll County deputies.

On June 29, deputies arrested 34-year-old Malcolm McGee of Jackson, charging him with possession of a stolen vehicle.  The arrest occurred on Mississippi 404 near the Duck Hill exit on I-55 during a traffic stop.  McGee was transported to the Carroll County Jail.

On Tuesday, the owner of the stolen 2008 Infiniti, Norman Dixon from Birmingham, Alabama, picked up his vehicle at Flight 95 Towing and Recovery in Winona.  Towing company owner Wesley Greene waived the towing and storage fee after  Dixon explained his vehicle had been stolen last week in Birmingham when he stopped at a gas station.

Dixon prayerfully thanked everyone.
