SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Services for Earlyne McNeer Hudson of South Bend, Ind., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oliver Funeral Home in Winona.

Mrs. Hudson, 90, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at in her apartment in the Sanctuary at St. Paul’s retirement home in South Bend.

She was born in Houston, Miss., on March 5, 1920, to the late Tommy Toy and Cora McQuary Dendy.

Earlyne lived most of her life in Montgomery County, where she worked for many years in the McNeer family grocery store in Kilmichael. She also worked in the ASCS office in Winona and at the Kilmichael Hospital. She was always an active participant in the activities of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers and sisters; her first husband, Durward McNeer; and her second husband, Martin Hudson.

Survivors include her two sons, Dennis McNeer of Warner Robins, Ga., and Dendy McNeer of Granger, Ind.; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
