The Leflore County District 3 road management team picks up trash on County Road 507 in Itta Bena Wednesday. Representatives of the Leflore County Solid Waste Department and the Leflore County Sheriff’s Department were also on hand. District 3 Supervisor Anjuan Brown said he hopes to enlist the county’s law enforcement to patrol the area to keep reckless driving and littering down. “We’re having an issue here with people littering and also speeding,” Brown said. “They’re throwing trash on both sides of the street, and we’re just trying to keep Leflore County clean.”
