A time for giving

At the Itta Bena Public Library on Saturday, the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity and city volunteers handed out Thanksgiving dinners to families in need. “I love doing this,” said Janaya Spivey, the fraternity’s president. “It really makes me happy to give to the Itta Bena community.” From left are David Holts, Ward 2 Alderwoman Johnnie Riley, Alice E.
