Talking cleanup

Leflore County District 3 Supervisor Anjuan Brown, left, and Leflore County Ordinance Officer Perez Westbrook stand near the wreckage of a former dilapidated house off Sherman Avenue in the Buckeye community. Brown said it is part of an ongoing project to clean the neighborhood and ensure the area’s safety. “I was really concerned that there was going to be someone getting hurt, because some kids would go in there and play during the summer and such,” he said. “So this is just one way I am trying to help clean up this area.”
