Parade magazine has changed its publishing schedule to skip six weekends a year.

The first is this weekend.

Instead, the national publication, which is distributed in the Commonwealth and more than 700 newspapers, is publishing combined holiday issues. The combined issues premiered last weekend with a Christmas publication.

The combined issues scheduled for 2020 include:

• Easter (April 5)

• Memorial Day (May 17)

• Independence Day (June 28)

• Back to School (Aug 2)

• Labor Day (Aug. 30)

• Christmas (Dec. 20)

In each case, Parade will not publish the week after the combined edition except in the case of Back to School, when it will not publish the week before.
