The water service line at the intersection of Hoboken Street and Williamson Street in North Carrollton is scheduled for repair next Monday.

The time frame for the repair will be from 8:30 a.m. until the work is completed that day.

North Carrollton Mayor Ken Strachan said that date was selected because J.Z. George High School will be closed for Thanksgiving week. Water service will be restored as soon as the repairs are made. Water could be off in certain sections of town during the repairs. Strachan said that barring unforeseen problems, “we plan on this work being done in a timely manner and before the Thanksgiving holiday.”

Earlier in the year, the town coordinated with the school in repairing a leak when the school was out for Good Friday. There were no problems, and it was convenient for the citizens and the school, Strachan said.

Anyone with questions or concerns may call the North Carrollton Water Department at 237-9268.
