Tim Burton, Pillow Academy’s middle school and high school principal, resigned Thursday.
On Friday, the school thanked Burton for his 22 years of service in an email sent to parents.
Burton held teaching, coaching and administrative positions during his tenure.
“A transition plan is being developed and will be communicated to the parents when completed,” the school announced in the email.
Burton and school officials, including Headmaster Rodney Brown, could not immediately be reached for comment.
