NATIONAL SUMMARY
A clipper storm will depart from the Northeast tomorrow.
Occasional snow showers will develop east of the Great Lakes
region, where lake enhancement will allow for locally higher
snowfall amounts. Periods of snow will continue across
interior New England. Snow flurries will dot the
Appalachians throughout the morning hours. Conditions will
be very cold across the Midwest and Plains as Arctic air
permeates the region. Rain and thunderstorms will shift
along the Gulf coast and Florida. Meanwhile, periods of snow
will transition across eastern Wyoming, central and eastern
Colorado, western Nebraska and western Kansas. Snow can make
roadways and sidewalks slippery, causing travel disruptions.
