Sheriff’s deputies in Carroll County have arrested three individuals in connection with a burglary that occurred earlier this month.

Chief Deputy Adam Eubanks said witnesses in the area identified the three suspects and that the case is still under investigation.

Mitchell Blakely, 29, of Carroll County, was arrested on June 12; Donald Taylor, 23, of Montgomery County was arrested June 14; and 25-year-old Halley Hood of Carroll County was arrested June 15. Each has bond set at $5,000.

The burglary took place either on June 7 or June 8 in a rural part of Carroll County, near where it meets with Montgomery and Grenada counties, Eubanks said.

“They took some items like a generator from the house,” Eubanks said. “I don’t have the whole list of missing items. We are more concerned about the burglary. They broke into these people’s home when the occupants weren’t there.”
